Snapshot: We’re looking for a Program & Project Manager who thrives at the intersection of education, innovation, and impact. You’ll be at the forefront of a national movement, leading the expansion and evolution of our Government of Canada-funded initiatives, MetaProf and MetaLingo.
At Voilà, we’re tackling one of Canada’s most pressing education challenges—bilingual teacher retention—and we’re looking for a leader like you to help guide us. This role is more than project management: it’s an opportunity to shape a vibrant, supportive learning community for French educators across the country.
MetaProf Project Overview: MetaProf is Voilà’s flagship teacher training initiative—an immersive virtual environment that fosters spontaneous collaboration, professional growth, and bilingual PD experiences tailored to French and second-language teachers. - Access tailored professional development and AI-powered instructional support
- Receive assistance with lesson planning, teaching strategies, and alignment with student learning styles
- Engage in weekly, bilingual PD sessions with expert facilitators
- Foster a national community of support for professional satisfaction and retention
Your talent impact:
- Lead all project management efforts for the national deployment of MetaProf in partnership with the Government of Canada and key educational bodies, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within scope.
- Design and facilitate weekly bilingual professional development sessions in the MetaProf virtual platform, prioritizing relevance, innovation, and accessibility for French and second-language educators.
- Build and nurture strategic relationships with school boards, ministries of education, teacher colleges, and francophone educational networks across Canada, with a strong emphasis on engagement within the French education ecosystem.
- Travel across Canada to attend education conferences, represent Voilà at sector events, and meet with key stakeholders to build buy-in, share outcomes, and grow the MetaProf network.
- Create and execute community-building strategies that foster long-term engagement, retention, and professional satisfaction among French-language teachers.
- Leverage the MetaProf platform’s unique capabilities—such as AI-powered avatars and immersive virtual classrooms—to support teachers with lesson planning, differentiated instruction, and learner engagement strategies aligned with multiple intelligences.
- Identify and recruit expert speakers and facilitators in second-language education to deliver content that aligns with MetaProf’s mission and teacher needs.
- Coordinate internal and external teams to continuously improve session quality, tech usability, and participant experience in MetaProf.
- Develop feedback loops and data collection strategies that inform decision-making, highlight program impact, and guide continuous improvement.
- Produce impact reports, insights, and recommendations for internal teams, funders, and national partners such as CASLT (Canadian Association of Second Language Teachers) and Canadian Teachers Federation.
- Support alignment between MetaProf’s initiatives and national educational priorities related to bilingualism, teacher training, and the retention of French teachers.
- Build partnerships with school boards and universities to expand both MetaProf and MetaLingo, and increase parent engagement for MetaLingo.
