The above link from the Modern Language Council (MLC)/ Conseil des langues modernes (CLM) is a publication entitled Communicating with Parents and Guardians, which is part of a series of modules released by the Ontario Modern Language Teacher Association(OMLTA) following the revisions to the French curricula in Ontario in 2013 and 2014. This document examines communication with parents and guardians about French language learning settings and instruction, in order to bridge the gap that often exists between home and school. The document also outlines possible communication strategies that educators could use in order to support authentic conversations around the subject of French language learning.
