AIM (Accelerated Integrated Method) is a relatively new mode of teaching language that makes extensive use of gesture, mime, music and dance alongside words to communicate meaning to students.
The AIM website provides users with access to the broad base of research that identifies gesture as critical to the learning process, as well as blog posts from AIM-certified instructors with tips on implementing this new form of communication with your students.
Users can enroll in various training programs, and video examples of AIM in action can be found here and here (I will upload video links later – YouTube is blocked at the school).
