A strong curriculum is only as good as the instructor determined to develop it in innovative ways. All of our tutors are highly motivated and francophone (from France, Belgium or Québec). Tutors can range from qualified teachers to teacher candidates to university graduates who care about education and have worked with children. Our rigorous recruiting process ensures that every tutor is trustworthy and qualified. This process involves:

  • An interview in French and English. This tests candidates’ bilingualism and motivation, and also aims to gather a sense of the individual’s personality and interests.

  • A written test in French testing candidates’ competencies in the areas of academic knowledge (French, math, science etc), bilingualism, and childcare.

  • Verification of references and documents, including a background criminal record check and copies of university and/or other diplomas and qualifications.

  • Careful training, where the selection process is designed to yield instructors of high quality who understand our vision of education and are capable of delivering either the Provincial Curriculum or the French Curriculum, as necessary.
